Lenses/ Reflectors for Osram Opto LEDs
OSCONIQ® P 2226 |
Plants have a completely different sensitivity to light colours. Contrary to other lighting applications which are made for humans and valued in luxes, plants consume light and need photons for photosynthesis. The amount and ratio of different wavelengths from the light determine how, and how fast, plants grow and produce crop. Regardless of different seasons or unstable weather, today’s artificially created horticultural lighting can mimic any daylight integral and have stable, optimised growing conditions for each plant.
Optics help focus the light/photons onto plants, allowing either greater crop yield and shorter growing cycles or reduced luminaire BOM costs. Having uniform light and spectral distribution also helps to produce healthier and more productive plants. Focusing light energy where it is actually needed gives greater PPFD with less power.
LEDiL’s optics, available as single lenses and multiple lens arrays, have been tested and verified to work with the latest LEDs from all the top manufacturers. Our wide portfolio of modular designs includes efficient solutions for all types of horticultural lighting. Whether you need to have lenses for top or intra-canopy lighting, or have an IP protection or uniform colour mixing, LEDiL provide the perfect solution for your luminaire designs.
ILS is a franchised distributor and solutions provider for LEDiL optics and able to advise and assist with your specific requirements.
